For those of you who haven’t heard, last month we released a new treatment called “NextGen PRP”. Essentially, it provides similar results to a standard PRP treatment series, but without the invasive collection and multiple treatments.
In a standard PRP appointment you can expect your own blood to be collected, processed to produce a concentration of your own platelets (which promote healing), and then injected back into your body.
Of course, receiving your own blood back as a method of pain treatment sounds like a great idea, in theory, however if you’re not in optimal health or your platelets don’t contain enough growth factors, more often than not the treatment is ineffective.
With our commitment to men’s health and to regeneration and restoration for everyone, we wanted to offer an option that would be effective every time for our patients, without invasiveness or complicated treatment protocols.
Which is why we created the NextGen PRP.
Our NextGen works similarly to standard PRP with a few improvements.
Instead of collecting the growth factors from the patient’s blood, we collect them from the Wharton’s Jelly layer of the umbilical cord. That means growth factors that are tested for potency and effectiveness, which is something that can’t be guaranteed from traditional PRP therapies.
With standard PRP treatment you’ll be expected to undergo the therapy multiple times (usually 3) to achieve your desired results. Our NextGen PRP treatments offer the same potency as 2-3 standard PRP treatments, which means a single treatment is usually more than enough to complete the treatment.
A Wider Array of Growth Factors
Traditional PRP is limited to the growth factors that are already present in your body. Because NextGen PRP is derived from Wharton’s Jelly, you get the benefit of all the additional growth factors (Cytokines), which means better and more potent results with each injection.
